They had one job. One single job. I was having a party, and that dude must have been blind because he crashed his god darn car into one of my friend's car parked on the curb. There was another side of the street where he could have parked, but he did it on the side filled with cars. I will never use this service in my life again, I will stick to Uber Eats. I have no hate for the Asian community, and I have a lot of empathy for what they are going through right now. People are getting killed just for going to the grocery store, and I see how this service could be useful for those who want to have a full stomach, while still eating the food that they have grown up with. My experience was bad, and that's it. I don't think everyone will go through this experience, just want everyone to know. Please still support the asian American community, but probably in an another way. Thanks, and I hoped this helped you.
The food is tasty and of good quality in my opinion.
And the staff try to take the order quickly and get everything ready quickly.

This is the worst delivery service in the marketplace. The first time I used this my food arrived cold, arrived 1 hour 45 minutes from the time I placed my order (and past the upper bound of the promised delivery time). Please note that the restaurant I ordered from is only 2 miles away from my home. I thought it may have been just a bad first experience. However, my second order was not even picked up until 2 hour 20 minutes after I placed the order. By that time, I was starving and had already made instant noodles. I called the restaurant and they were also frustrated as they were about to close. I called the driver to refuse the order and deleted the app.
Reached out last Wednesday as a restaurant looking to sign up for their service. Three email exchanges with two different people back and forth and gave them our name location and contact for sign up. As of today Monday, nothing. We sent an email again following up this morning. Nothing. Disappointed. Understand if we are busy but some sort of update would be appreciated.
Absolutely disappointing delivering services. Doesn't matter if they have great food choices on the app if they can't deliver them to your door. I waited for more than 2 hours for my food to deliver in Chicago. That didn't happen once, it happened quite often and I live in the South Loop area which is ironic that no one is delivering food in a big city. I am moving to Uber Eats and other alternative options, this is the worst food delivering app/service in 2020/2021.
lots of great food options in Toronto and the delivery rates are fair and transparent. Also, it's such a saving for me to subscribe to Chowbus plus so that I save a ton on the delivery cost, which could be 20+ dollars with other platforms.
Love the customer service folks who helped me patiently. Will recommend more to my friends.
Chowbus has the most reliable delivery service and most patient customer service. Also, their pricing is much cheaper than other delivery Apps
This is a very dishonest company. I ordered and had a coupon code which was successfully applied. Upon paying, my credit card was charged for the full amount. I immediately emailed hello at chowbus.com on 11/22/2020 and received no response. I then chatted with Jonas Jias via "intercom" on their chat site and he absolutely refused to refund the $5 to me. I was supposed to get $5 off my first 3 orders. I was also about to place another big order, but they have lost my business and I am complaining about their company. They do not deserve anyone's business if they are going to be this dishonest. Do not think that their app works at all.
